Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent restrictions on domestic and international travel the 2021 National Dachshund Specialty Show has been rescheduled to now be hosted in 2022.
The new provisional dates are May 27th, 28th and 29th 2022.

The NDC is in receipt of a letter from the ANKC which details their approval of the Dachshund Club of Queensland Inc application to hold a National Specialty Show on May 21, 22 & 23 2021 at the Durack Showgrounds.
Please also note that Challenge Certificates for Dachshunds are not allowed to be awarded at other shows being held within 1000 kms of Durack on the approved National show days.

Four Standard Smooth Dachshunds from South Australia, Two Standard Smooths from Queensland and One Standard Smooth Dachshund from New South Wales have been added to the IVDD Health Tests Database.
Total dogs now tested for calcifications is 74.

Four more Standard Smooths have been tested for IVDD by Eukypark Dachshunds in Tasmania.
Their test results are now added to the database.
Dachshund breeders have now tested 67 Dachshunds in their breeding stock for Spinal Calcifications.
